Easter and What’s Been PASSED-OVER #3

Subtitle: Seek Comfort in Christ

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero. Father-Forever, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:5.

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the afflicted, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, release to the prisoners, to announce a year of favor from the Lord and a day of vindication by our God; to comfort all who mourn. Isaiah 61:1-2.

Father forgive them they know not what they do.

Words from the Christ dying on the cross, to the one who is above him, the one who sent him, to the world to start the plan of God’s restoration. Jesus with these words describes people of this world who are trapped in darkness. As a fly caught in the spider’s web. It would be sadistic to punish them, they are already punished by what they should be doing. He is saying it is a crippled divided world. Now seeing is believing.

To help solve the PASSED-OVER mess — quick fix — start anew — start from these Isaiah passages and build on that from the Gospels and only the Gospels; it’s the only scripture with legs. And these legs will get you moving — it’s going to take believing for it to work — let the believing part supply the convincing part — if you get convincing first without believing there is a good chance you are getting punked. Believe with the Spirit of Truth, it’s been promised to help by God, the one true God, not a demi-urge.
